Meet Our Team

 

All about Mick

I commenced pool building with Roman Pools in 1997 on a part time basis, while still attending school at Nudgee College. During this time I assisted with pool set-outs, trimming, steel tying, perimeter boxing, plumbing and drainage, and tiling to completion. My role also included liaising with customers on contract variations.

On completion of Year 12 in 1999, I continued my employment with Roman Pools as a full time tradesperson. This role included the responsibilities listed above, as well as managing the quality of work from site set-out to hand over.

I have been in the Swimming Pool Construction industry for 12 years now. In 2006 Amic Pools was born. My aim is to design the perfect pool for your needs, lifestyle, environment and budget. My passion is to provide an exciting experience for each and every customer, from quoting, marking the pool out, steeling, trimming, plumbing, tiling etc through to completion of the pool, to handing the pool over and seeing a satisfied, excited client.  AMIC Pools build pools like we build our reputation... to last and outlast the competition.

All about Kassandra

Kassandra Hunter is fully accredited by the Queensland Government in
swimming pool and plant operations. Kassandra has been in the swimming pool
industry for over 5 years, and has worked on the Redcliffe Peninsula for
over 3 years. Kassandra has an enormous amount of knowledge in swimming pool
water, pumps, filters, chlorinators and pool cleaners. Kassandra is well
known in the pool industry to have the ability to getting your swimming pool
water, balanced, clean and clear. Kassandra saw the opportunity to move on
to Magnatech Pool Centre as a new product has been launched called the
Magnapool system. Kassandra believes the Magnapool system will be the
biggest change in the pool industry seen in years.

All about Will

Will has spent many years in the earth works industry, operating machines, surveying, running drainage and cordoning trades.

Will brings a lot of big company experience to Amic Pools.

All about Dez

Dez has worked with swimming pools for 10 years, starting off with water testing and balancing in 1995. He progressed to trouble shooting, handovers and commissioning pools as well as plumbing and pool maintenance in 1997. Now he also takes care of job time lines and ensures that all workers and trades are operating efficiently on site.
